It didn't quite work on the Run Line last night for the O's last night but the 2-1 win was good nonetheless and a third straight win after a rare five-game slump. While things have straightened out for the Birds, they haven't for the Rangers, now with five losses in a row, all since GM Chris Young's public flogging of the team and tis offense immediately after last weekend's sweep of the Royals. Young's criticisms and accompanying roster moves preceded this five-game slump, and the Rangers have lost 9 of the last 11 starts made by Michael Lorenzen, on the mound tonight at Camden Yards.
