Games between the D-backs and Padres have almost resembled batting practice, with 30 runs being scored across the past two nights. In fact, in eight clashes this season, none of the games has featured fewer than eight runs, which explains our interest in the "over" on Sunday at Petco Park. San Diego hasn't been able to rely upon ex-Chisox ace Dylan Cease, at least not lately, drilled in three of his last four starts, and really worked over last Tuesday at Texas when knocked out before the fourth inning when allowing six runs and eight hits. There is potential to be matched (if that's the word) by Arizona counterpart Ryne Nelson, who also didn't last four innings in his last start at Petco on June 8 when the D-backs were on the short end of a 13-1 blowout.
