Mariners over Cardinals- Coming off their three-game sweep of the Cubs in Chicago the Cardinals improved their road record to 23-12 before heading west to Seattle. The Mariners shocked St. Louis Friday night with a three-run homer in the ninth to hand the Cards a disappointing loss. Sunday they will start Jaime Garcia (5-6, 3.83 ERA) who has been terrible his last three starts lasting just 17.2 innings while surrendering 27 hits with a WHIP of 1.70 and an ERA of 5.09. James Paxton (1-3, 3.34) is 1-2 in his last three starts with an ERA of 3.15. Take SEATTLE!
