Dodgers over Cardinals- The Cardinals won their fourth straight last night by coming back from a 5-1 deficit in the eighth inning against San Diego at Busch Stadium where they are just 24-28 on the season. Los Angeles handed Stephen Straburg his first loss yesterday winning 6-1. The Dodgers will start Brandon McCarthy (2-0, 1.69 ER) who has been superb since returning from Tommy John surgery allowing only three runs and eight hits and 22 strikeouts in 16 innings. Micheal Wacha (5-7, 4.45) just is not what he used to be as he is pitching to a 1.66 WHIP in his last five starts. In a mild surprise take the DODGERS!
