Rockies over Rangers- The Rockies were three outs away from getting the break even watermark of .500 on the season but surrendered three runs in the ninth last night as Texas pulled off the win to leave Colorado four-games behind in the Wild Card chase in the National League. The Rangers have won their last three and seven of their last 10 while the Rockies have dropped their last two contests. Considering the record of these two clubs it is surprising the Rockies opened the favorite even if the game is in Colorado. A.J Griffin (5-1, 4.05 ERA) has never pitched in the 'Mile High City' and will have the same problems more pitchers face and have the same troubles other contend with. Tyler Chatwood (10-7, 3.63) has struggled against Texas but gets it done today. Take COLORADO!
