Cardinals over Mets- The Mets pitching is showing signs of wear as their staff of 'aces' are beginning to breakdown as the pressure of throwing day in and day out for a team that has very little offense. Jacob deGrom (7-6, 2.73 ERA) was bombed last time out and has just seven wins on the season. St. Louis will start Carlos Martinez (11-7, 3.24) who was dominate against Houston his last time out and is 2-1 with a 1.31 ERA against the Mets. The Cardinals are showing some power having hit homers in 12 consecutive games in addition to the 17-game homer string last month. Take ST. LOUIS!
