Panthers (-) over Nittany Lions- This match-up brings me to fond memories of this series which I attended once at Three Rivers Stadium when Carson Long missed three field goal attempts and he had to change his name to Carson Wide. In those times Penn State was the habitual favorite until Tony Dorsett arrived at Pitt. The dirty little secret here is the coaching abilities of the Nittany Lions while Pittsburgh has the advantage with Pat Narduzzi running the show. The fact that the Panthers are closer to a touchdown favorite as opposed to a field goal make me want to lay it here. Take PITTSBURGH!
