Astros over Rangers- The surprise in baseball last year was the emergence of the Houston Astros and now a season later they are trailing Texas by 9 ½ games and are 3 ½ games behind the second AL wild card spot. They will start Doug Fister (12-11, 4.14 ERA) who has lost his last three decisions and is 0-5 in his last five starts at home but will get the much needed support tonight against the Rangers starter Martin Perez (10-10, 4.25) Even though Texas is 13-3 against the Astros and 5-1 in Houston tonight the tables will be turned.
