Buckeyes (-) over Tigers- This is the second trip for both schools to the College Football Playoff with the Buckeyes winning it all two years ago and the Tigers losing to Alabama in the championship game last year. J.T. Barrett missed his chance to play in this game two years ago but a leg injury ended his season and this year his stats having been what people had hoped but the Ohio State ground game pounds out 285 yards a game. Clemson's Deshaun Watson hasn't had the sparkle of last season either throwing 19 interceptions as the Tiger run game was just so-so. Better defense and coaching give the Buckeyes the edge.
