White Sox over Tigers- The numbers and trends are so one sided in this contest that it gives me cause for concern because when somethings looks that good it's time to 'be careful what you wish for.' To start with Detroit is sending Max Scherzer (13-1, 3.19 ERA) to the mound and he has a 2.51 ERA in 13 career starts against the White Sox and the Tigers are 23-8 in his last 31 starts on grass. The Tigers are also 35-17 in the last 52 meetings. The stumbling point is Chris Sale (6-8, 2.85) who has a 2.50 ERA and 0.83 WHIP at home. In a surprise...take the WHITE SOX!
