Phillies over Atlanta- Playing at a .500 level since the All-Star break has not served Arizona well as they have seen a 2 ½ game lead in the NL West and now they trail the Dodgers by 9 ½ games with 36 to go. Cole Hamels (5-13, 3.61 ERA) has pitched well for almost two months as he is 3-2 with an ERA of 2.05 in his last nine starts. Hamels is 4-2 with a 3.42 ERA lifetime against the Diamondbacks. I know they 'stink' but the spot is right for the PHILLIES!
