This is a 10* PLAY IN TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the OVER Leafs/Jackets.
This has been an interesting series, one which has so far been dominated by defensive play.
The Jackets won the first game 2-0 and then the Leafs returned the favor with a 3-0 win in Game 2.
Now that the "feel out" period is over though, I fully expect these loaded line-ups to take center stage.
Joonas Korpisalo has looked great in net for the Jackets. So too has Frederik Andersen for the Leafs. But as the series ware on, I think the men between the posts are getting worn out.
Toronto is among the league leaders in almost every offensive category and I expect it to keep the foot on the gas here after scoring three goals last time out.
And forced to keep pace, the Jackets will be out to atone for the "goose egg" they laid in Game 2 as well.
When you add it all up, this one has high-scoring "shootout" written all over it; play the over!
