This is a 10* TOP DOG PLAY on the Baltimore Orioles.
The Orioles broke a six-game slide with a 5-4 win in ten innings yesterday and I believe they offer great value here to keep that streak going.
The Orioles are now 12-14, while the Red Sox fall to 9-18. The Red Sox had won three in a row after dropping nine straight and I now think that another letdown is imminent here.
Both Wade LeBlanc of the Orioles and Zack Godley of the Red Sox have struggled for the most part this year, so I'm calling the starters a "wash," but giving a slight nod to LeBlanc at home (and the fact that he's 3-0 with a 4.47 ERA lifetime vs. Boston).
Finally I think that it's interesting to note that Baltimore is 7-2 in its last last nine after scoring five or more runs in an extra innings victory.
I'm taking the PLUS MONEY on the hungry home side!
