This is a 10* TOP DOG OF THE DAY on the Toronto Blue Jays.
Yes, Blake Snell (2-0, 3.00 ERA) is on fire right now, but at some point he's going to regress. These types of numbers are not sustainable and I believe that regression is imminent.
Tanner Roark (2-1, 4.76 ERA) started off slowly for his new team, but he's quickly improved and I like the veteran to continue that progression today (note that Roark is 2-0 with a 3.18 ERA lifetime vs. the Rays.)
The Rays are at home and Snell is on fire, but I still think that Tampa is severely over-valued here.
I look for Roark to match Snell inning for inning and in a scenario like that, I feel that the value absolutely swings to the under-valued underdog.
