This is a 10* ULTRA-EARLY COMMUNITY TOTAL on the OVER Devils/Rangers.
I expect a much more spirited effort here from the Devils, who have lost eight of their last ten, including a 4-0 setback to these very Rangers here two nights ago.
In fact, it'll be all hands on deck for the Devils, who have been shutout in two straight.
New Jersey is terrible defensively though and I don't expect anything to change on that end of the ice, as it has allowed four or more goals in six of its last nine games.
The Rangers have scored three or more goals in seven out of their last ten games. New York has been great defensively, but note that it's seen the total go OVER in eight of its last 11 after a shutout victory in its previous outing.
The Devils have seen the total soar OVER in five of their last six in trying to revenge a shutout loss vs. an opponent.
The stage is finally set for some offensive fireworks. The play is the OVER.
