Unfortuntately though Detroit is allowing 3.40 GPG. Alex Nedeljkovic has a .911 save percentage and a 3.06 goals-against average on 190 shots.
Boston will definitely look to take advantage here and raise its yearly average (2.43 GPG). The Bruins have been tough defensively, conceding 2.86.
Yes, both sides have struggled offensively to this point, but each has also been ineffective defensively. Especially the Wings.
These are two teams in need of some offense. I expect a faster-paced, and ultimately higher-scoring contest today.
