Over his last five starts, he has dominated, posting a 3-1 record with a 1.84 ERA. In two of the games against the Cubs, the Reds surrendered 20 and 16 runs. Because of that, I think this number is a little high with Ashcroft on the mound. The Reds have shown an ability to hit off Corbin but on the other side Ashcroft has been dominant over his last five starts and that should continue against a Nationals team that has struggled to score runs. In the four games they have played, the games are averaging 9.25 runs per game while in Corbin's last five starts, he's allowing four runs per start while Ashcraft is allowing 1.2 runs, which is why I like the under.
