The rushing attack has been led by Tre Watson who has gained 280 yards. The Longhorns are getting a total of 243 yards a game in the air and 154 yards a game on the ground. This has translated to 28.8 points a game. The defense for the Longhorns is giving up only 218 yards a game in the air and 115 yards on the ground. The Longhorns D is giving up only 19.8 points per game on the season. The OKL defense for the Sooners is giving up only 252.4 yards a game in the air and the Sooners have given up only 152.8 yards a game on the ground so far this season. This has led to the Sooners defense giving up only 23.2 points per game. The Longhorns have a defense that has really turned into a shut down defense and when compared to the Sooners defense they are markedly better. The Longhorns offense is not anywhere near the caliber of the Sooners offense, but the Soonners have not faced a defense as strong as the Longhorns on the season.
