This will be the second game of the double-header, as Wednesday's game was postponed. Here's a great spot to pull the trigger on the RUN LINE option with Detroit's bonafide ace on the mound
It's a seven inning game, and that benefits the Tigers and Boyd here. Boyd is 2-2 with a 1.82 ERA and he's coming off a tough loss on Saturday vs. the Royals, giving up two runs off three hits over eight innings. Over 34.2 innings of work, Boyd has 22 K's.
His counterpart is Dylan Cease, who gave up two runs and three walks over 3.1 innings in a no-decision vs. Texas in his last outing. Cease owns a pedestrian 4.15 ERA and 20:12 K:BB thus far.
