This is a 10* TOP NL TOTAL on the OVER Mets/Phillies.
We were 3-2 on Friday. One of our losers was our play on the Mets. Philly won 2-1.
New YOrk comes in desperate now to break out of its funk, as it's lost seven of ten and three in a row, posting a total of just three runs over this latest stretch of futility.
It's interesting to note though that the Mets have seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 11 in trying to revenge a road loss vs. an opponent in which they were held to one or less runs in.
Zach Wheeler and Taijuan Walker both have good early numbers, but we simply feel that they're in the wrong place at the wrong time this afternoon.
While yesterday's series opener stayed well UNDER the number, we feel that the overall situation now favors a higher-scoring "slug-fest" on Saturday.
